EX-PPPLD DGA29/DG41 at DG44 Teachers
Meeting held between NUTP and JPA on 10th
July 2009 has informed that teachers under EX-PPPLD DGA29/DG41
group will be given 3 years teaching experience (3 years PPPLD
seniority = 1 year teaching experience) to enable them to
apply for ‘Urusan Kenaikan Pangkat Time Based DG-48’
(7 years [DG44] + 3 years PPPLD teaching experience) Effective
from 1 July 2009.

Teachers in KUP Grade
Examples: DG 44 promoted to gred DG 44 hakiki
Sir/Madam, For Your Information
All Form 6 post is ’jawatan hakiki’, therefore
need to change from KUP to ’hakiki’.
Unsatisfied NUTP members with regards to Acting matter of
Form 6 are requested to provide their Name, I/c No. and school
address.
The Ministry of Education is in the midst of solving this
issue. NUTP needs to send all the teachers name involved with
regards to this matter. Patience is appreciated.

Acting
What is meant by Acting ?
Teachers who is offered the’Hakiki Post’ must
first hold an Acting post. After Acting between 6 months to
a year, the school and State Education Department will confirm
the post.
Example:
DG 41 is offered as Acting DG44 on 1.1.2009
In June/July the school can arrange for confirmation of DG44
post. The teachers will enjoy backdated DG44 grade. Teachers
are requested not to reject the offer without understanding
it.

PTK Issues
Sir/Mdm, For Your Information
Teachers with PTK Level II results can register
for PTK examination without any constraints. Whereas teachers
with PTK Level III are only allowed to take the examination
twice. NUTP is in the midst of requesting Jabatan Perkhidmatan
Awam to dropped this requirement. Teachers will be given the
opportunity to sit for the examination without any limits.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Promotion from DG44 to DG48 –
Suggestions and Demands of NUTP
Explanation of the following statement:
“to include the years of service
as non-graduate teachers”
For Grade DGA29/32/34/38 teachers who are
now in Grade DG44, their teaching experience as non-graduate
teachers will be considered for promotion to DG48, in which
for every 3 years of service as non-graduates, they will be
given one year of teaching experience, subject to the maximum
of 3 years of teaching experience.
Example:
A teacher in Grade DG44 who has served for
7 years as a graduate teacher and was a non-graduate teacher
for 9 years will be given 3 years of teaching experience for
promotion to Grade DG48.
DG44 = 7 years
DGA29/32/34/38 = 3 years of teaching experience
(9 years of service as non-graduate)
Total = 10 years
(Eligible to apply for promotion to DG48)
Calculation of teaching experience
as non-graduate:
3 years of service will be given 1 year
5 years of service will be given 1 year
6 years of service will be given 2 years
8 years of service will be given 2 years
9 years of service will be given 3 years
10 years of service and more will be given 3 years |
