English Language
Proficiency Test for Teachers (Penilaian Tahap Profisiensi
Bahasa Inggeris or PTP).
NUTP has made enquiries with the Teachers
Training Division about English Language Proficiency Test
for Teachers. We were informed that the test scheduled to
be held on 26.4.2008 to 24.5.2008 has been postponed to later
date.
The aim of PTP is to improve the teaching
and learning of science and mathematics in English and it
is not related with payment of BISP.

Status of Senior
Assistant of B Grade Schools appointed to DG41.
Senior Assistants who have been appointed
to DG41 could stay in their posts if they were appointed to
DGA32 and senior assistant posts prior to being offered DG41.
Time Based DGA32 could be converted to "Hakiki"
DGA32.
Members are requested
to exercise caution when applying for Distant Degree Programmes
(PJJ) under Open University of Malaysia (OUM).
• Consent of the Teacher Training Division
(BPG) is needed before enrolling for such courses.Application
should be submitted to the principal who will then forward
it to the JPN then to the Teacher Training Division.
• PJJ option must be similiar with your option at the
Teacher Training College.

DGA29 / DG41 Salary
Gap .
NUTP is currently processing more than 3,000
sets of forms received from members.We wish to thank all members
who responded to our request.We are now organizing the forms
by alloting them into subgroups.Once this is done, the forms
will be sent to the Ministry of Education by April 2008.

additional conditions nave been imposed by Great Eastern
with regard to NUTP Health Care :-
The additional conditions
are as follows:
-“ Imposition
of RM200 deductible, 10% co-insurance subject to a maximum
out of pocket of RM1,000 per claim and additional premium
of RM8 per child per month, in addition to existing premium
rate.”
